Dupa ce ai gustat din aperitive, ai cerut reteta de prajituri si ai dat gata un intreg meniu de Revelion, mai mult ca sigur ca te simti obosita si nu vrei decat sa te intinzi pe canapea si poate chiar sa tragi un pui de somn&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Aceasta stare de somnolenta dupa ce te ridici de la masa de Sarbatori este numita de oamenii de stiinta \u201esomnolenta postprandiala\u201d. Aceasta \u201efood coma\u201d (in termeni comuni) este un fenomen cat se poate de real, iar cercetatorii in domeniu au mai multe teorii legate de posibilele sale explicatii. Cel dintai este un hormon intestinal al carui nivel creste dupa masa \u2013 dupa cum au dovedit-o studiile pe animale, noteaza David Levitsky, profesor de nutritie si psihologie la Universitatea Cornell. Odata injectate cu doze foarte mari de CCK, animalele adorm; in schimb, daca primesc treptat acest hormon prin perfuzii, pana concentratia acestuia creste in mod treptat, ca dupa masa, animalele studiate nu devin neaparat somnoroase.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Serotonina este un neurotransmitator care contribie la reglarea somnului, fiind responsabil de relaxare si somnolenta. Injectat direct in creier, acest hormon te adoarme, dar concentratia necesara pentru a produce acest efect este imensa. In fine, in joc intra si triptofanul (un aminoacid regasit in carnea de pui, curcan, peste, branza, iaurt si oua). Acesta este convertit in organism in Vitamina B3 (niacina), care ajuta corpul sa creeze serotonina. Cand alimentele consumate ajung in stomac, activeaza tractul gastrointestinal, sangele se deplaseaza in stomac si intestine, parasesc muschii si creierul si apare senzatia de oboseala si somnolenta. Cu cat consumi mai multe alimente odata, cu atat stomacul se intinde mai mult, iar gradul de distensie gastrica este direct proportional cu cel de somnolenta ulterioara, conform studiilor publicate de Dr. William Orr, profesor de medicina la Health Sciences Center (Universitatea Oklahoma). Alt lucru interesant descoperit in timpul cercetarilor lui Orr a fost ca mesele lichide ne obosesc mai putin decat cele solide. Un <a href=\"https:\/\/elifesciences.org\/articles\/19334\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">studiu de specialitate din 2015<\/a>, efectuat de William Ja (profesor de neurostiinta la Scripps Research Institute, in Florida) a descoperit o legatura direct proportionala intre cantitatea de proteine consumata si orele de somn. Acesta a analizat musculite de otet, care traiesc doar 2 luni (deci pot fi studiate de-a lungul intregii vieti) si al caror creier poate fi modificat genetic, pentru a-l imita pe cel uman. Dupa ce a urmarit sute de insecte condumand mii de mese, cu nutrienti si portii diferite, Ja si colegii sai au concluzionat ca musculitele hranite cu portii mai mare, mai multe proteine si mai multa sare dorm mai mult. Explicatia este simpla: proteinele si sarea sunt toxice pentru insecte in cantitati mari, iar somnul ajuta la excretarea acestora.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"ritmul-circadian-are-si-el-un-rol-in-somnolenta-postprandiala\"><\/span>Ritmul circadian are si el un rol in somnolenta postprandiala<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-10500 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sanovita.ro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/somn-odinitor-e1575288922281.jpg\" alt=\"somn odinitor\" width=\"588\" height=\"392\" \/>Momentul consumarii unei mese bogate, cum este cea de Sarbatori, ar putea fi mai important decat continutul sau cantitatea acesteia, crede Rafael Pelayo (profesor de psihiatrie si stiinte comportamentale la Stanford Center for Sleep Sciences and Medicine). In corpul uman exista o nevoie naturala de energie dimineata (deci un mic dejun generos nu te va adormi), in timp ce inceputul dupa-amiezei atrage dupa sine o scadere a energiei si aparitia unei stari de somnolenta (cati dintre noi nu simt asta pe la 13:30, imediat dupa pranzul luat la locul de munca?). Chiar daca nu mananci nimic la pranz, ritmul circadian al corpului tau iti va semnaliza nevoia de odihna. In fine, seara energia se reduce din nou (odata cu temperatura corporala) si semnalizeaza apropierea somnului nocturn. Urmeaza cele 5 sfaturi de mai jos, pentru asta:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>mananca portii mai mici<\/strong> \u2013 cu cat cosumi mai multa mancare, cu atat iti cresti sansele de a te simti obosita dupa masa<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ia pranzul mai devreme<\/strong> \u2013 nu lua masa de pranz la ora 13:00 (cand organismul tau e pregatit oricum sa-si ia o pauza), ci mai devreme, pe la 11:45, de exemplu<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>consuma mai multe lichide decat solide <\/strong>\u2013 bea un smoothie la micul dejun pe 1 ianuarie (in loc de aperitivele ramase din noaptea anterioara), include o ciorba sau o supa in meniul de Pasti, mananca o salata (nu doar o friptura grasa) de Craciun<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>alege carbohidrati cu un <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sanovita.ro\/blog\/tot-ce-trebuie-sa-stii-despre-indicele-glicemic-ig\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">indice glicemic<\/a> <\/strong><strong>scazut<\/strong> \u2013 painea si cerealele integrale, leguminoasele, fructele si legumele fara amidon sunt de preferat in meniul bogat de Sarbatori, in favoarea painii, zaharului si orezului alb, produselor de patiserie si dulciurilor din comert, cartofilor si dovleacului<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>renunta la alcool<\/strong> \u2013 acesta are un efect sedativ, care nu va face dacat sa iti accentueze starea de somnolenta;
