Tot mai mul\u021bi dintre noi suntem afecta\u021bi \u00een fiecare an de bolile \u201estilului de via\u021b\u0103\u201d, afec\u021biuni cauzate de modul \u00een care alegem s\u0103 ne tr\u0103im vie\u021bile.<\/p>\n<p>\u00cencepem s\u0103 vedem din ce \u00een ce mai mul\u021bi oameni, inclusiv copii \u0219i adolescen\u021bi, diagnostica\u021bi cu diabet. Cancerul \u0219i bolile de inim\u0103 sunt \u0219i ele, statistic, \u00een cre\u0219tere. Cei mai mul\u021bi dintre membrii comunit\u0103\u021bii r\u0103m\u00e2n activi fizic p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een ultimii ani ai vie\u021bii. American Institute of Cancer Research sus\u021bine faptul c\u0103 o diet\u0103 ce con\u021bine o varietate de alimente vegetale precum legume, fructe, nuci, cereale integrale \u0219i leguminoase ajut\u0103 la sc\u0103derea riscului de cancer. Diferite studii arat\u0103 beneficiile dietei Mediteraneene (unde uleiul de m\u0103sline este principal\u0103 surs\u0103 de gr\u0103simi, \u00een locul c\u0103rnii), printre care sc\u0103derea riscului deboli cardiovasculare \u0219i demen\u021b\u0103 generat\u0103 de v\u00e2rst\u0103.
